Imagine Technology Group Accelerates the Adoption of Microsoft Azure Among Local Businesses

Leading MTSP Helps Organizations Benefit by Moving Their Network Into the Cloud CHANDLER, AZ – Imagine Technology Group, a leading managed technology services provider (MTSP), announced that the company has accelerated the adoption of Microsoft Azure cloud services among local small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Imagine Technology Group has been driving this shift due to several key benefits, including transitioning technology from a capital expense to an operational expense, supporting flexible remote/hybrid work environments, enabling multi-location operations, ensuring access to the latest applications, and enhancing cybersecurity. Azure’s capability to improve organizational utility, flexibility, and scalability has become a game-changer for businesses. Microsoft Azure helps eliminate outdated IT hardware in SMBs. Traditionally, companies invested in on-premise servers, but this method of storing data and running networks has become obsolete with the rise of cloud technology. On-premise servers age rapidly, creating significant security risks. Without regular updates, they slow down, while technology continues to advance. By moving to Azure, businesses avoid large capital expenditures on outdated technology and benefit from a pay-as-you-go utilization model, making technology an operational expense. “For many smaller companies, the notion of moving operations into the cloud seems daunting due to perceived complexity,” stated Mark Lasinis, CIO/VP of Technology at Imagine Technology Group. “However, making this move positions a company for a bright future. Azure simplifies cloud computing and allows businesses to achieve new levels of efficiency. Our role is to guide companies through the transition and show how Azure can greatly improve performance.” Azure also enhances workforce convenience, particularly in multi-location or remote work environments. Remote teams are more productive with cloud-based platforms, which are essential for maximizing results. As remote work continues to grow, especially among younger generations, a cloud infrastructure will be crucial for organizational success. Another major advantage of Azure is its ability to unify business intelligence, operations infrastructure, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and data management into a single, scalable platform. An ERP integrated with Azure helps businesses adapt more quickly and make informed, data-driven decisions. Azure is also leading the market in cybersecurity. It provides frequent security updates and unique updates to the software’s architecture, making breaches much more difficult as the system continuously adapts to emerging threats. “With Azure, businesses gain the agility and tools needed to enter new markets, grow through acquisitions, and quickly launch new products,” added Lasinis. “After working closely with organizations to build, manage, and deploy applications on local, national, and even global scales, we’ve found that Azure is paving the way for the future, and Imagine Technology Group is at the forefront of guiding our customers to take advantage of it.” ABOUT IMAGINE TECHNOLOGY GROUP Imagine Technology Group (ITG), an Arizona-owned and operated company, offers customers a single point of contact for all their office technology needs. New Artificial Intelligence Protect Companies From the Latest AI Phishing Attacks

Leading Managed Technology Services Provider Helps to Secure Organizations CHANDLER, AZ – Imagine Technology Group, a leading Managed Technology Services Provider (MTSP), announced that the company is protecting small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) from the latest styles of cyberattacks. While phishing has long been a method used by cybercriminals, new developments in AI have made it easier for them to disguise their phishing attempts, complicating the protection efforts of businesses relying on conventional means. Although most organizations offer cybersecurity training to employees or use “post-delivery” email filtration tools, human error remains the leading cause of breaches. Imagine Technology Group is leveraging AI inbox filtration software to help business owners eliminate phishing attacks from ever reaching employee inboxes, completely mitigating this risk. Cybercriminals are growing more sophisticated in their attack methods, and business owners must understand which tools are necessary to protect their organizations. While traditional cybersecurity training modules are common, their effectiveness diminishes over time; retention can drop significantly within just a few months. According to the 2021 Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR), “85% of breaches involve the human element.” It’s evident that an average employee is not as capable of detecting phishing attempts as an AI email filtration system. With human error accounting for 85% of phishing attacks, companies must learn to leverage AI to compete with cybercriminals’ technology. Mark Lasinis, CIO/VP of Technology at Imagine Technology Group, stated, “You don’t bring a knife to a gunfight. Nor should you try to fight AI hackers without AI tools on your side.” Phishing has existed for decades; however, content-generating AI, such as ChatGPT, has made it increasingly difficult for the average user to identify phishing emails. In the past, fraudulent emails often contained awkward phrasing or spelling errors that were easily detectable. Now, cybercriminals can use AI to proofread and refine their messages, making them appear credible and professional. This evolution poses a significant challenge for employees attempting to discern fraudulent emails from legitimate ones. To combat AI-driven phishing, Imagine Technology Group employs AI-based detection methodologies that can automatically assess whether an email comes from a credible source. More importantly, this system removes fraudulent emails “pre-delivery” rather than “post-delivery,” which is the standard for most commonly used phishing prevention systems. By eliminating the human element from the equation, organizations can significantly improve their cybersecurity posture. This is especially critical because with “post-delivery” filtration software, there is still a small window during which an employee could unknowingly expose the company network to vulnerabilities before the software removes the email. Imagine Technology Group’s software also performs dual functions by continuously monitoring the company network for any improper data storage. For instance, if “Bob from Shipping” stores company files on a personal Dropbox or Google Drive account, that data needs to be secured at the same level as other data storage centers. The software can immediately detect if employees are storing company data on unsecured servers and notify network administrators, allowing them to address potential issues before unnecessary breaches occur. “AI is both a blessing and a curse for business owners,” added Mr. Lasinis. “Our job is to sift through all the emerging technologies and deliver simple IT solutions to businesses that need to scale safely, efficiently, and securely.” ABOUT IMAGINE TECHNOLOGY GROUP Imagine Technology Group (ITG), an Arizona-owned and operated company, offers customers a single point of contact for all their office technology needs. Imagine Technology Group Leverages Unique Strategic Partnership With Zultys

Leading Managed Technology Services Provider (MTSP) Leverages Unified Communications & Integrated Contact Center to Strengthen Customer Relationships CHANDLER, AZ – Imagine Technology Group, a leading Managed Technology Service Provider (MTSP), announced that their strategic partnership with Zultys is helping them serve small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) and leverage the latest emerging technology in unified communications. Zultys, a pioneer in unified communications and Integrated Contact Center (ICC) technology, is helping SMBs increase their customer engagement by equipping them with the most advanced and well-supported unified communications system on the market. Through this collaboration, Imagine Technology Group ensures that SMBs have the technological tools they need to streamline operations, enhance real-time collaboration, efficiently manage high call volumes, drive brand loyalty, and improve the overall customer service experience. One of the biggest frustrations facing today’s teams in the modern workplace is the challenge of collaborating efficiently. With organizations comprised of a mix of hybrid workers, remote employees, in-office teams, cross-department projects, busy executives, and everyone using their own preferred devices, real-time collaboration can often be elusive. However, one of the simplest yet most effective ways to handle this problem is to unify all workplace communications on the same platform, ensuring that everyone is always “on the same page.” Imagine Technology Group has established this impactful partnership with Zultys because of their unique technology that empowers work teams to collaborate seamlessly, recreating the “in-office” pace of communication without lag time. Zultys’ mobile and desktop apps enable users to make audio calls, video calls, video conferences, send instant messages, indicate their availability via “presence,” record calls for training purposes, utilize softphones, and harness other advanced call center features from their preferred devices. Through this partnership, Imagine Technology Group can elevate the communications infrastructure of any small to mid-sized business they work with, allowing them to present an image comparable to a Fortune 100 enterprise. Since its inception, Imagine Technology Group has focused on finding cutting-edge communications tools that eliminate “friction points” preventing rapid collaboration among business owners, employees, and their customers. “We’re thrilled to be partnered with Zultys because of their strong reputation,” stated Mark Lasinis, CIO/VP of Technology at Imagine Technology Group. “Our job is to constantly find the best emerging technologies available and establish partnerships that can give our customers a lasting competitive advantage. Business technology is an incredibly fast-moving industry, with many startups coming and going; however, Zultys has withstood the test of time because they understand what it takes to thrive in this space. One core value we share is allowing the needs of our customers to drive innovation instead of adding unnecessary bells and whistles. Every feature on the Zultys system exists because a business owner asked for it, and they provided a solution to help them collaborate efficiently. The synergy in company culture between our organizations, along with their eagerness to overdeliver to our customers, is what made them stand out as a partner to us. We’re excited to have such a robust UC system to empower our customers,” added Lasinis. In today’s world, customers need to be able to instantly connect with brands they love, which means the underlying communications technology must facilitate seamless transitions. “Far too many modern businesses have advanced communications capabilities in some areas (such as robust call center features like call recording, silent monitoring, and ‘find-me-follow-me’ call rerouting); however, those features often don’t carry over when employees need to collaborate in real time,” added Lasinis. “When we deploy Zultys, we can make everything seamless so team members remain flawlessly connected whether transitioning from mobile phones to video conferences to instant messages, without losing key features just because they switched interfaces.” Over the years, Imagine Technology Group has achieved customer loyalty by earning client trust. This comes from continuously finding ways to facilitate the best deals possible with partners for their clients. Imagine Technology Group has built strong customer relationships not only by identifying “best in class” solutions but also by being very selective and establishing partnerships with extremely efficient companies. A small yet telling example is how Zultys has managed to minimize its taxes and cost recovery fees to the lowest rates in the industry, allowing Imagine Technology Group more room to reduce final costs for end users. Organizations choose Imagine Technology Group because they consistently deliver a superior customer experience. By combining the innovative resources of a large enterprise with a “high-touch” partner like Imagine Technology Group, something special happens. Often, business owners have specialized needs from their unified communications systems and require a high level of technical expertise to ascertain whether the underlying technology can deliver important features, such as instant collaboration via secure links that allow for screensharing, audio, and video calls with people outside their organization. “Most enterprise manufacturers provide dealers with training and support portals, but it’s rare to find a partner willing to join a sales call with you. It’s extremely powerful when you no longer need to say, ‘Let me check on that and get back to you,’ but instead have a highly skilled expert right next to you, delivering granular clarity to the client so they have all the information needed to make immediate decisions. That level of time investment distinguishes good partners from great ones and is what we look for in our partnerships,” stated Lasinis. While Imagine Technology Group occasionally shares anecdotes about Zultys’ exceptional dealer support, this is backed by their 100% onshore (not outsourced) customer support team with an average hold time of only 17 seconds, which can make all the difference during customer installations. Lasinis concluded, “These types of partnerships matter greatly because they help our customers solve problems, which is our core mission at the end of the day. Our obligation is to find the best partners, ensuring our clients remain intimately connected with their customers. There are tiny margins of error in today’s marketplace, and with such a highly skilled and, more importantly, dedicated team of experts ‘on-call,’ we can deliver the premier customer experience.” ABOUT IMAGINE TECHNOLOGY

Imagine Technology Group Launches New Managed Data Backup Services

Leading MTSP Provides Businesses with the Latest in Data Backup Technology CHANDLER, AZ – Imagine Technology Group, a leading Managed Technology Service Provider (MTSP), is excited to announce the launch of its new managed data backup services with flexible solutions that prioritize cloud-based storage while also offering the option for on-site replication, catering to the varying needs of small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs). This managed data backup solution is optimized for peak performance, reliability, and efficiency, which are key to ensuring optimal backup and recovery. As the value of sensitive client data continues to increase, organizations are finding new ways to secure their clients’ information reliably. While many businesses operate with on-site backup appliances, a hybrid approach combining cloud and on-site storage can help mitigate risks associated with obsolescence and inefficiency. Imagine Technology Group’s cloud-first approach eliminates the need for on-site backup devices altogether, allowing SMBs to back up their data while receiving patches, maintenance, and upgrades. Mark Lasinis, CIO/VP of Technology at Imagine Technology Group, stated, “Organizations can optimize their backup investments by leveraging managed data backup services, which ensure data security and immediate recoverability while offering the flexibility of cloud-first and on-site replication options.” By utilizing Imagine Technology Group’s data backup services, customers can efficiently manage server, workstation, and Microsoft 365® backups and recoveries for multiple locations or clients from a single web-based dashboard. Performing cloud-first data backups translates to significant cost and time savings while ensuring that customers’ data remains accessible and protected. One of the biggest drawbacks of data backup is inefficient management. For instance, if the customer’s managed services provider or IT department performs a data backup during work hours, it could strain network resources or disrupt bandwidth for other employees. The best data backup systems utilize deduplication and incremental backup capabilities to move up to 60 times less data than conventional image backup products, enabling organizations to back up their data more frequently without causing network issues. This solution minimizes bandwidth usage, making daily backups small, lightweight, and cost-effective. Lasinis added, “Every single IT system that an organization implements needs to take cybersecurity into consideration. Cybercriminals have unprecedented access to artificial intelligence-based cybercrime software, and it’s vital that any data backup solution takes security seriously.” For businesses wanting to create an additional layer of security, it’s important that files are encrypted using 256-bit encryption to secure files both in transit and at rest, ensuring data privacy. This is exactly how Imagine Technology Group’s new managed data backup solution is configured, giving management the ability to restrict certain data so that only authorized personnel can access encrypted files with their private key. Additionally, the cloud-first managed data backup solution uses ISO-certified data centers located worldwide, with region-specific certifications to maintain strict security and compliance standards. Imagine Technology Group’s managed data backup solution is a revolutionary cloud-first data protection solution that offers companies a highly efficient and secure way to safeguard their clients’ valuable data. By embracing the power of the cloud, Imagine Technology Group delivers top-notch data protection services, helping their customers stay ahead in the competitive managed services market. Imagine Technology Group Launches Secure WiFi-as-a-Service to Protect Customers from Cyber Attacks

Leading Managed Technology Services Provider (MTSP) Leverages Innovative Wireless Access Points to Secure Connections to the Internet CHANDLER, AZ – Imagine Technology Group, a leading managed technology services provider (MTSP), announced today that the company has launched a Secure WiFi-as-a-Service program to protect its customers from cyber attacks through wireless access points. Over the past few years, the prevalence of cyber attacks has continued to grow, expanding every SMB’s need for cybersecurity. One of the most widely utilized methods by cybercriminals is WiFi hacking through an organization’s wireless access points. WiFi hacking has proven to be one of the most effective means of cyberattacks, and hackers are using this specific method to exploit SMBs. However, Imagine Technology Group’s Secure WiFi-as-a-Service program comprehensively stamps out this threat and equips SMBs with a means to securely connect to WiFi, so their businesses can run smoothly, securely, and safely. This program goes far beyond the typical protection that most businesses utilize. Common cybersecurity packages include firewall, data backup, antivirus, malware prevention, OS security, and patches, yet these solutions are no longer sufficient protection mechanisms. In the modern workplace, everything relies on the Internet, and a secure connection is now an absolute must for any organization. Unfortunately, the majority of all breaches happen to SMBs, and the main reason is that their IT provider is not providing sufficient protection against cyber attacks. SMBs require a secure connection to ensure that their employees, networks, and customers are protected from infiltration, data extraction, and credential theft. WiFi hacking is often overlooked as a security threat; however, as Internet speeds have dramatically increased in recent years, so have the associated risks. WiFi hacking has become prevalent because it’s very easy to hack wireless access points. Fortunately, Imagine Technology Group offers customers a Secure WiFi-as-a-Service program on a month-to-month basis with no capital expenditure. Imagine Technology Group provides its customers with state-of-the-art wireless access points designed to thwart cyber attacks. This unique technology includes a powerful wireless intrusion prevention security system, real-time business-driven and location-based analytics, and social-enabled captive portals. The Secure WiFi-as-a-Service program includes technology refresh, so the wireless access point is always up to date with the latest software and cybersecurity technology. “The reason that businesses need to secure their WiFi is that these attacks can go undetected for a very long time, which poses serious risks to any company,” stated Mark Lasinis, CIO/VP of Technology of Imagine Technology Group. “Hackers are only getting smarter, and the sooner a business can lock down every entry point into their network, the better.” ABOUT IMAGINE TECHNOLOGY GROUP Imagine Technology Group (ITG), an Arizona-owned and operated company, offers our customers a single point of contact for all their office technology needs. Imagine Technology Group Launches Managed Detection and Response to Thwart Cyberattacks

Leading MTSP Combines Cybersecurity Experts with State-of-the-Art Technology CHANDLER, AZ – Imagine Technology Group, a leading managed technology services provider (MTSP), is safeguarding SMBs (small to mid-sized businesses) from cyberattacks through its innovative managed detection and response (MDR) solution. As cybercrime has become more prevalent, many business owners have poured thousands into a variety of software programs, cloud services, and cybersecurity applications designed to protect their operations. However, since most of these services only generate numerous alerts that organizations must sift through and respond to—often without sufficient IT personnel to manage the volume—a significant number of these notifications go under-investigated and unresolved. Imagine Technology Group’s MDR solution deploys a team of IT experts available 24/7/365 to monitor, detect, prioritize, and counter cyberattacks in the most effective way possible. While some companies may have basic IT solutions like a robust firewall, multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirements, and even an in-house IT employee watching over their network, cybercriminals are increasing their success rates by ramping up the volume of attacks on underprepared and under-resourced small businesses. Even if a company has some foundational protections in place, many cybersecurity solutions only deliver alerts, notifications, and analytics that highlight problem areas. Therefore, if hackers can overwhelm an organization, they can exploit weak, distracted defenses. The key is to incorporate the necessary human element to help organizations prioritize, investigate, and address the root causes of potential security threats as quickly as possible. Mark Lasinis, CIO/VP of Technology at Imagine Technology Group, stated, “In many ways, cybersecurity is akin to playing chess. If you want to win every time, you should harness all the power of AI-based technologies, but also pair that with an IT expert who can think strategically about any breaches coming into your organization. This is what separates the ‘easy targets’ from your business. When cybercriminals have to expend an inordinate amount of effort to target your organization, the time investment becomes far less attractive to them. They’re looking for ‘low-hanging fruit,’ and when you have experts on your side, this deters them.” Lasinis also commented on MDR’s advantages compared to other cybersecurity solutions, saying, “Social media is a great example of the ‘alert fatigue’ that comes when you have a technology that provides an onslaught of notifications, alone. Ok, I got all of these notifications, but now what do I do with all of them? While it’s absolutely vital that organizations have access to this base-level of alerts that can inform their network security strategy, many of our customers simply require a quicker, more comprehensive, human-driven response to thwart cyberattacks. In other words, they can’t afford to just be notified; they need those issues to be immediately and fully resolved by a team of experts who understand their IT network better than they do. That’s what you’re getting with our MDR program,” confirmed Lasinis. He later added, “Automatic notifications are only as useful as your company’s response. If your cyber-defense strategy omits a human who can get inside the mind of the cybercriminal perpetrating the attack on your network, your response may be lackluster or incomplete. Since our clients simply cannot afford to be breached, we proactively monitor their endpoints, receive the same exact alerts they do, and we respond on their behalf, in their best interest, without placing the onus on the business owner to react promptly, especially when they have so many other higher priorities on their mind.” MDR is gaining traction because it meets the deeper goal behind all cybersecurity solutions available today: removing the burden of expertise from the business. MDR leverages deep expertise aligned with your organization’s cybersecurity needs and vulnerabilities, providing dedicated security analysts who will investigate threats down to their source and eliminate them. In many ways, it is the most comprehensive cybersecurity solution on the market, reflecting any business’s highest aspiration regarding IT: to have an expert solve problems without distracting the business from its core goal of growth and success.
